According to a federal lawsuit filed by Taylor Fresh Foods, former Taylor Farms Tennessee president Brian Thure and three other individuals are accused of executing a fraud plot that drained upwards of $32 million from the business over several years.
The complaint states that the scheme involved unauthorized payroll additions, including family members and personal staff such as a chef, chauffeur, personal trainer, and handyman, which resulted in roughly $6 million in unauthorized wages and benefits, as reported by KSBW.
Investigators discovered the alleged financial misconduct through an internal review and an IRS audit in 2025, with court documents detailing that the misappropriated funds were used for high-end acquisitions like a Hawaii residence and a California ranch.
