Jet Engine Blade Failure Triggers Emergency Landing
An airline flight returned to Greece after a mechanical failure resulted in a window breaking and a passenger getting partially pulled outside.

According to CNN, a turbine blade detached on a Boeing 737 aircraft shortly after departure, sending debris crashing against the exterior of the cabin. The incident caused a passenger to be pulled partially through the broken window before being rescued back inside by his spouse and a flight attendant.
Investigators noted that the flight crew received vibration alerts moments into the journey before hearing a loud noise and losing autopilot functionality. The aircraft subsequently landed safely back at its departure airport in Greece following the mechanical malfunction.
