Trump Disputes Justice Department Assessment of Reflecting Pool

According to CNN, the leader of the country took to social media to state his complete disagreement with the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia regarding the condition of the landmark. This public statement followed a legal document in which officials admitted that a recent multimillion-dollar overhaul of the basin was poorly executed.
The department also moved to drop the criminal case against a former Olympian who had been accused of damaging the site. Previously, the administration had insisted that malicious actors were responsible for the green water and algae issues, resulting in several arrests that are now being undone.
