Recent research led by MIT addresses frequent criticisms regarding electric vehicle pollution, examining multiple factors such as local weather, driving distances, vehicle categories, and regional power generation. The findings indicate that battery-powered automobiles reduce total emissions by 40 to 60 percent across the majority of regions in the United States, as reported by Carscoops.
