The proposed framework relies heavily on large-scale utility installations, which account for the vast majority of renewable generation and offer significant cost advantages over smaller setups. To manage the natural fluctuations of wind and solar sources, the strategy utilizes extensive transmission networks alongside non-battery storage methods such as pumped hydro, hydrogen, and thermal storage.
