Lawmakers have raised questions regarding conditions on the Lincoln, though Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth defended the situation while asserting that a naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz can be sustained indefinitely. The Trump administration has not specified a timeline for concluding the ongoing conflict.
