DOJ Faces Possible Contempt Over Epstein Files
A federal judge has raised the possibility of contempt charges against government attorneys over heavily redacted files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

During a public hearing, a federal judge pressed the Department of Justice regarding withheld information in a legal challenge concerning Epstein investigation records. The Independent reports that the judge questioned the justification behind the redactions after a journalist's lawsuit accused the administration of failing to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
